Pastor Loren Regier believes that Word-based, Christ-centered, Gospel-focused pastoral ministry coupled with a warm passion for people are the key ingredients to great leadership in the church. “Look for the preachers with calloused hands, gentle hearts and worn Bibles; the ones coming to town wearing hard hats not high hats.” When he came to Bible Baptist Church he was most impressed with the servant-leaders that he met and the long legacy of faithful preaching that exists at Bible Baptist. He feels honored to be in such a place.

His background includes growing up along the banks of the Amazon River in Brazil. There his godly missionary parents led him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at a young age. Their sacrifice for the cause of world missions has forever impressed him with the urgency of personal evangelism. Even in a day of advanced technologies the best voice for telling the Gospel, he believes, is the voice God gave you. “Holding forth the Word of Life” is the only life worth living.

After returning from the mission field, he went on to Bible college and married the love of his life, Robyn. Together, God has graced them with three wonderful children, Whitney (married to Garrett), Ethan, and Nathan. How grateful they are for children who are seeking to serve and follow the Lord. Their first grandson, Callan was born in August, 2017.

Whether preaching, teaching or visiting a home-bound member, the Regiers love declaring Christ and connecting with people. They want you to know they are saving you a seat at Bible Baptist Church.

According to my earnest expectation

In the world that we live in, I believe that it is vital that teenagers all across the globe be building below the baseline. Many teens look great on the outside but inside their foundation is shaken or non-existent. Here at Youth LIFE, it is my prayer and goal that each teen receive truths from God’s Word that will help strengthen their faith so that when they go on to college and the secular world, they will be firm in their beliefs. We may not be able to take the heart of a teen and make it do things great for God (only God can), but we can love them and show them that they are important and have a purpose that God has designed for them!

I have been married to my wife, Rachel, for five years now and the Lord has blessed us with three beautiful children, Conner, Kiana, and Haven. I graduated from Maranatha Baptist University & Seminary with my Bachelors in Biblical Studies and my Masters in Biblical Studies. Together, Rachel and I have a burning desire to reach the next generation for Christ. Our Youth LIFE program may not be able to keep up with all the activities that the world throws your way, but we do desire to love on each teen that comes to our group and show them just how important they are to us and to God.

Jon Knoedler

BBCS Administrator

Both Jon and Jackie Knoedler have been in Christian education since 2015, fulfilling roles in the high school and middle school math department, Bible, English, and athletics. Jon assumed the role of administrator at Bible Baptist Christian School in the summer of 2021, and has a passion for Christian-based education, along with student mentoring opportunities provided through athletics and fine arts. They have three children, Jayley, Judson, and Joelle, and enjoy participating as a family in many school and church ministries. The Knoedlers are excited about what the Lord has done and will continue to do at Bible Baptist Ministries in the south Atlanta area, and are overjoyed with the blessings and ministry opportunities the Lord has given them.

Taylor grew up in the Christian family. He came to know Christ as his personal Savior at age 17 after the realization that his sins separated him from God. Taylor graduated from Bob Jones University where he met his wife, Jamie Cornelius. Taylor and Jamie now have four children, Nathan, Ethan, Jana, and Peter. Taylor has a heart to serve both the Lord and His people with gladness. Taylor came to Bible Baptist Church in October 2016 as our Facilities Manager.

Tim Lee graduated from Cedarville University in 1974 and finished a Masters in Christian School Administration from Grace Theological Seminary in 1981. From 1974 until June of 2014 he served as a teacher, coach, and administrator in Christian education and was involved in the financial management of three Christian schools during those more than forty years. Tim moved from school administration to Business Manager at Bible Baptist Church and Christian School in 2014. He came to Bible Baptist in August of 1986. Tim’s wife, Carol Lee, is an administrative secretary for Bible Baptist Christian School. Tim and Carol have five daughters that have all graduated from Bible Baptist Christian School and they now have eight grandchildren. The Lee’s feel that being a part of a dynamic ministry that offers excellent preaching, teaching, music, and beautiful facilities that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ has been such a wonderful blessing. They love our Bible Baptist Church family and feel that this ministry has much to offer all who the Lord leads to join us.
